Junior Editor's Writing Workshop

An intensive writing workshop that takes students on a journey of fact and fiction, as each junior editor selects a literary work for examination. He or she then will superimpose himself or herself into the story from his or her perspective. In so doing, students engage in the writing process while incorporating the Six Traits of writing. News articles, feature stories, and character profiles provide avenues for each junior editor to marry the artistry found in literature and composition with the intuitive details that shape strong journalists.
